What we are about: We are Ghanaian women both young and old of the Ghanaian Association of Canada’s wing with a visionof women supporting women and how we plan to support the community. We are women who seek to enrich and nurture the young while bridging the gap between old and young through education and experience. Our focus is to enhance and present opportunities for education and advocacy by empowering women, thereby strengthening families and transforming our community and beyond.
Services: We focus on issues that directly impact women and girls:
Community support of health issues/mental health and wellness
Help the young with parenting issues, advocacy, counsel, helping the elderly, education and awareness and our services will always be from a women’s perspective
We have a broad membership of specialty professionals including legal, community leadership experts, health care professionals and educators.
We also provide information and resources to those who may need access to services and support.
Upcoming events: Saturday 8th August, 2020 – Virtual Townhall continuation of women’s conversation on education and health –dubbed “WOMEN ON THE GO” consisting of 6 amazing women from our community and beyond.
