The Premier commended the work being done at the HUB and encouraged young people to focus on STEM because of the huge potential for the 21st century and highly paid jobs in Ontario. The Premier joined the youth in the science LAB to showcase the amazing work done.

The Premier met the cross-section of the leaders of GCAO , among them Emmanuel Duodu (President of GCAO), and Mary Akuamoah-Boateng (Vice President), who were on site to welcome the Premier. On a side conversation with the Premier and his team, GCAO leaders brought to their attention the Ghanaian-Canadian Heritage and Resource (GCHRC) project and the support needed for the project. GCAO was asked to follow up with the leaders on the project details.
