Women’s Group

The Women’s Program is dedicated to providing support to women of all ages in Ghana. Our mission is to work collectively towards eliminating poverty, violence, low self-confidence, and to harness the power of creativity, cultural heritage, and leadership among women to uplift the community.

Our program is steadfast in its commitment to empower women, with the ultimate goal of bolstering families and catalyzing positive change within our community and beyond.

Objectives:
• Foster the growth and development of the younger generation while fostering
intergenerational connections through education and shared experiences.
• Establish a secure and welcoming physical environment exclusively for women, offering a space where they can find safety and access to essential services and support.
• Contribute resources and share expertise with the community, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Champion critical societal concerns that affect the wider community, including safety, violence prevention, respect, self-esteem, education, and health, among others.

Services:
Our primary focus revolves around addressing issues that have a direct impact on the well-being of women and girls, including:
• Building a supportive community to address health issues, mental health, and overall wellness.
• Assisting the younger generation with parenting challenges, advocacy, counseling, eldercare, education, and awareness, all from a women's perspective.
• Cultivating a diverse membership comprising specialized professionals such as legal experts, community leaders, healthcare professionals, and educators.
