GCAO Women’s Program

The GCAO Women’s Program is a community-centered initiative dedicated to empowering, supporting, and uplifting women and girls within the Ghanaian-Canadian community and the broader community. The program provides culturally responsive spaces where women can connect, learn, share experiences, and access resources that support their personal, professional, and family well-being.

Our mission is to foster leadership, confidence, wellness, education, and social inclusion while addressing issues that affect women and families, including mental health, financial literacy, gender-based violence awareness, parenting support, and community engagement.

The Women’s Program brings together women of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and generations to build meaningful connections, promote cultural pride, and create opportunities for growth and empowerment.
